Well if there are i'd just like to say that the ending of Lexx was really good. I didn't want the show to to end yet but I don't think they could have ended it better then they did. Was a great episode...... 🙁
 
Isn't the series a take off from a movie called "Tales From a Parallel Universe" or somesuch? I remember watching it at like 3 AM on the Scifi channel, then the series Lexx came around.
 
The chick in the show is the epitome of every geek's wet dream, but the show itself is strange, cheezy, corny, full of bad acting, and just too downright odd to watch on a consistent basis. The final episode does look pretty interesting, however.
 
I liked this episode. So tonight's was the last one?🙁 First couple of seasons I watched them alot but got out of the habit this past year. Yes, Zev can be my space queen.😀 Both the blonde actress playing her now and the original redhead -oh oh how about both of them together😀😀:Q

Would someone mind explaining to me how this show came about? I mean I remember watching what I thought was the show, but the chick in it was alot cuter that the current one (she had blueish hair). In fact, I don't think that what I saw was even called LEXX. Did they start with the show and then spin off a couple of movies?

I could have gotten into the show if it wasn't so cheezy and wierd. I'm no stranger to odd shows/movies but this one was too strange even for me. Maybe it was the bad acting?
 
You gotta get used to it.... once you do the show is hella funny. Basically it is a comedy show about sex disguised as an outerspace science fiction show. They go as far as they can possibly go on regular TV (and then some..... search for the uncut shower scene on Kazaa 😀). If you wanna see a good episode watch Boomtown (if you can find it). I think the biggest problem is the show is very complex and if you haven't watched it from the beginning you'll be wondering wtf they are talking about. One of the reasons scifi played the Lexx movies a few times.....

The original Lexx movies were given the name Tales from a Parallel Universe when they were first aired on Showtime. They are really just called the Lexx Movies or Lexx Series 1.

Question: Why are there two different Z/Xevs? [Search FAQ]

Answer: In the original Lexx movies, and in the first two episodes of Series 2, the character Zev (the blue-haired one - not blonde) was played by Eva Habermann. After that, she was replaced by Xenia Seeberg (the red-haired one, also renamed Xev - she went to long blonde hair in Series 3). Here's the story of why this happened, quoted from Eva Habermann herself, in an interview she did for SFX magazine:

"It was discussed for a long time when they were going to continue to shoot the show," she sighs. "They had an option for me which ran out on 4 January 1998, but they said it would continue in March. Then it was going to be July, then September... I got a lot of offers from German TV shows and was offered this beach part. And so finally I said I'd take it because I never knew when we'd get started again. And then, about two weeks later, they called me and said, 'Okay! We got it now!' So I had to say, 'Sorry, guys, but I've got new work.' So there's going to be a whole new Xev."
