Are there any good replacements to Idrive and Xdrive?

I just received a notice from Idrive that they are closing. Xdrive charges a fee to store files...

Does anyone know of any other free data/file storage sites?

just use a cdrw, 50MB from idrive is nothing these days, if u want storage for a webpage, i think lunarpages.com has 50MB free anyways

I personally like my c: and d: drives 🙂 but I agree with SuperWrat get a cdrw, you'll be much happier. If you don't need blazing speed, you can still get a reliable one for under $100.

I was looking for a way to remotely store files (that I have at work...no access to a cdrw) then retrieve them from home.

Idrive and Xdrive had worked well...

25 mbs free. there are a number of paid sites in operation that may be of service to you.

If anyone has any other suggestions I will take a look at those sites too.

storagevault.com doesn't seem to be working for me (I can't seem to connect to the network).

Any other suggestions?

I know they cut their maximum on free space, but I stopped using it about a year ago so I don't know how much free space you get.
