Are there any good OCing P4 DDR Mobos what come with out RAID and IGC?

I am not gonna use RAID and i never use the integrated Video or even integrated sound. The only Feature (other than Firewire, USB2.0 etc) that i want in the mobo is an intergrated LAN card.

i DO intend to overclock so OCing features are important. I pretty much decided on P4 2.5 and XMS3200C2 but cant find a mobo that meets but not exceeds my needs.

Lots of good 845E boards out there. Most will have some sort of integrated sound, but you dont have to use it. Check out ASUS P4B533 and EPOX 4BEA..

Okay, i have looked up Asus P4B533 on asus website and apparently there are 3 of them

P4B533
P4B533-E
P4B533-M

And on pricewatch they range in price from mid- ($90) to high-end ($160). From the description on the Asus website the M version seems a 'value' type model with ONLY 3 PCI slots and no LAN plus they dont mention overclocking in its discription. SO that seems out.

533 seems to be the middle of the two with the only difference between 533 and 533-E being as far as i can tell being optional availibilty of LAN and RAID in 533-E model which the plain 533 model doesnot have.

Ideally i would like to buy 533-E mobo without RAID or sound (both are 'theoratically' optional) and be able to buy it around $120 range but i dont see any 533-E for less than $150. And at that price i might as well buy a P4T533 and for a $70 more i can have P4T533 + 512 MB 4200 RIMM (total cost $410) instead of P4533-E + 512 MB XMS 3200C2 (Total cost $340)

Isnt there a $100 DDR mobo that is OCable, Stable and has LAN ? wishfull thinking i guess!

yep that pretty much covers it

the P4B533 is the "barest" version of that board ~ it only has onboard audio and USB 2.0.

Epox 4g4a+ is a good OC'er and its based on i845g chipset, has pci/agp lock, integrated graphics, 6-channel sound, usb 2.0,(no firewire) and lan. Its fairly cheap too(you can find it on pricewatch for about $120+shipping
