Well looking at Newegg the best AGP card that they have is something like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161284

The rest is a couple of 4650s and a bunch of trash.

Looking at these benchmarks http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/foru...hd-4670-512mb-gddr3-video-card-review-11.html I can see that it looks alright but it's not a fast card at all (even when you consider the price range).

You should probably look into upgrading your motherboard and cpu (you can get cheap AthlonII X4 cpu and cheap AM3 motherboards that make a pretty decent system) then you can get a more modern video card like a 9800GT in the 100$ range(if you want to go nvidia) or 5750/5770 in the 150$ range.

The 4650 agp card is even available in retail outlets here in Canada. Probably the best around for an old agp mobo.

I also agree with the idea of getting a newer motherboard. Don't keep upgrading your relic.

eVGA says no RMA on my busted card since I didn't register it in the first month of purchase. A 5770 it is I suppose. Thanks for the help everyone.

Yeah 5770. Anyone telling you that you'll need a 5850 to play at 1080p are the ones that think 8xAA Ultra Everysettings + Smooth 60FPS is the bare minimum to enjoy yourself.

I game on 1080p with a 4850 512. You can even keep the AF at x16 and most games on max settings, its the AA that'll stuff you (how much you'd notice the absence or presence of AA varies from game to game and person to person).

Just to close this out, I have the Sapphire 5770 installed and everything so far is much better than my 8880 GTS 640 MB card that died on me. Anyone out there wanting one more final GPU upgrade for a decent price before they get a new rig in the future should be satisfied with this great little card. Once again I appreciate all of the feedback.
