No there are currently no dual Atlon mobo's out there to my knowledge. There are some for intel though.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Losty- answering your question about if it's worth it to get one- what's he wanting to do with it? is he just gonna game/type papers/surf internet, stuff like that? chances are, he isn't gonna need it unless he's doing some very high end stuff. but, on the other hand, it's fun just to have it.....:D

yeah i know...he really wanted one... but like...he's making excuses...like he has to serve 3 (three) computers ... i could do that with my cheap system i have now...anyhow...if the cost of the board is less than 140 than i dont think it's so bad...but the ram is going to cost for pc1600 ... hmmm...

how fast do these boards run? lets say dual 1ghz...what system would be equal to that? 2 ghz//???

Wouldn't pc2100 be better since its cheaper and faster... I can't wait for the 760mp chipset to come out, it will give me an excuse to get ddr and two 1ghz tbirds. By that time the ddr ram and cpus should be much cheaper :) I heard that they are coming out in like 3 months or so, but not sure about that.

RAM is insane right now. DDR is almost down to the prices that PC133 was at 6 month ago.
