Are there any day lockers in New York available to rent?

Hi, in a few months my girlfriend and I are making the trip to see a Rangers game in New York (both big fans). I think as a Christmas gift for her I'm going to get tickets to a Broadway play the same day.

The play would be at 2:00 and the game would be at 7:00. It's about a 2.5 hour play, so time shouldn't be too awfully tight.

My main problem is that we are traveling by bus and I wouldn't want to go to the play in Rangers attire and I wouldn't want to go to the game in dressed-up attire. I can't seem to find any businesses that provide a locker-rental service in the area so that we could stash our stuff there and get changed in between events.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks for any info you can provide,

I looked up the Port Authority's website and it's not listed in their services... I sent an email to them earlier today which hasn't yet received a reply.

I'm pretty sure you can find public lockers in bus and train stations.

Thats been the norm for quite a while, but I havent been to NYC in years.

Cool, hopefully you're right and I'll have an email in my inbox in a few days confirming the info. Thanks for replying. 🙂

Go to a hotel and check the stuff in there.

It should be about $5/day or so.

I don't even think you have to stay at the hotel. You can just say you checked out or you were at so and so a conference.

Here's a tip:

If you go to a major hotel like a Sheraton or Hyatt or Intercontinental, there is usually an electronic billboard that lists the conferences and meetings of the day. Look at the schedule and see if there is a big conference or meeting going on. Usually, they will check your stuff for you thinking that you are attending it. If not, tell the bell captain you are attending the conference and that you want it checked. It shouldn't be too much. Many times it is complimentary.

"Bellcaptain -
I'm the guest speaker for the symposium on non-invasive brain surgery. Could you check this Rangers jersey and this funny hat with the beer cans on it for me?"

Seriously, there used to be lockers in Penn Station, which is right below MSG.
