gf already did that. one supervisor said they would remove one of two.
few hours later, after a cash deposit to cover some things that are expected to post tomorrow morning, calls again and another says they won't remove any of them. so the account is getting closed tomorrow.

My bank (well, one of them) has overdraft protection. Basically you have to have a savings account with them as well and in the event you overdraw your checking account (could be a check or debit, etc) they'll transfer money automatically.
