Are there any bands out there that don't do drugs?

I've heard that Randy Bachman never did drugs or drank... but that's it...

I hate the fact the people almost expect you to do drugs if you are an artist/musician in the music industry today.

Someone my brother knows is related to Alex Lifeson so he got backstage passes for the concert in Vancouver. He asked Al how they do it still (tour, etc...) Al replies :

Well, back in the '80s it was easy... we would start a show with a line of coke... nowadays we start a concert with a powershake

yeah, lots, they just arn't as famous as the ones that do.

I doubt POD does any thing, or most christian bands.
 
I don't think the other smashing pumpkins did much drugs, other than the drummer and the later the keyboard guy. I could be wrong.

billy corgan was HUGE into LSD when they recorded the first two albums, which is why they sound so psychedelic, and why he wore those hippie shirts and had his guitar all painted up like he was in 1967. and of course jimmy chamberlain's heroin use is well documented.

how about ted nugent? he doesn't do drugs or drink, i think. but he's enough of an asshole to make up for it, and he's had enough sex to endanger his body plenty.
 
Motly Crue suposonly soberered up and got clean to geather for befor the Dr. Feelgood album. Of course this is only after thier days of hardlineing Jack Danials and Nikki almost oded to the point that his heart stoped then checked himself out of the hospital just to go and take another deadly hit that just wound him back in the hospital.

Heh.. However, the question had to do with "bands", which doesn't apply with these guys. Bands are groups of musicians who play instruments and perform; these people just prance around on stage lipsynching to some choreographed preplanned performance routine.

I don't think Creed does drugs.

Yeah the lead singer did(does?) smoke weed but he's been quoted as saying that he makes his best songs while not under the influence of drugs so he prefers songwriting with a clear head.

my current favorite band is an anti-drug band, phantom planet. they aren't straight edge either. i don't think you need drugs to make the best songs.
