Are there any AMD DDR boards with onboard sound and video?

Yep, boards using nForce 220, 220D, 420 or 420D, nForce2 IGP (not available on market quite yet), or VIA's KM266 and KM400 chipsets. Asus makes several nForce x20 boards (A7N266-VM is getting to be popular), MSI makes one, ABIT makes a couple... Biostar has a couple of KM266 boards, and so does EPoX.

One easy way to research what boards are available using these chipsets is to go to newegg.com's "AMD Motherboards" category, then search by chipset using the search thing on the left side. Hope that helps! :)

MechBgon. Where did you find KM400? I went to VIA's site and only seen the KM266 listed and Gigabyte has a KM266A floating through the asian channels.

I threw it in as a theoretical possibility in case one comes to the surface. It's KT400 plus onboard video, basically. I don't actually know of any on the market, but maybe some will come to the surface.

edit: where I expect to see them first is actually in, say, Shuttle cube systems.

I would go for the A7N266-VM, you can get it at Newegg.com for around $70.

And I can't remember the name but there is going to be a update to the KM266 (like KM400 etc..) but it will have a new video card system. Something that VIA has come up with. Can't remember but it might be DX 8 comp.

Now is the Nforce 420 better over the 220? or is it only if you use (2) sticks of ram?

Don't forget SiS 740 chipset, good performance with REALLY low prices. Seen on ECS K7SOM, L7SOM, M841, M810D.
