Are there a lot of latinos in Canada?

I've noticed that some of the latinos who just couldn't make it in the US due to the current situation, and the fact that many of them are not skilled in any specific area (no college education) decided to move to Canada. Now, in New York City there are latinos everywhere, and it's pretty normal to see them wherever you are, but is the same thing starting to be seen in Canada?

Only seasonal farm workers in sw ontario from what i have seen, that and mennonites (are they considered latino since they came from Mexico?)

That's news to me - all the Mennonites I knew (Southern PA) were about as white as you can get.

Um, we don't have "Latinos" in Canada. "Latin American" would be the most similar ethnicity, and they comprise about 1% of the population. So no, there aren't many "Latinos" here.

My city (Toronto) takes 50%+ of all immigrants to Canada and I haven't noticed any uptick.

I'd far rather see them in Canuckistan than in the USA.

Time to get cracking on that Mexico-Canada highway...the one with 50 foot high walls and no exits between the borders.

Brilliant idea! Maybe they can use some of the porkulous money on it and give some of our laid off american workers a job.

I've seen a lot of latinos in British Columbia.

Where? I'm curious, as I've lived in BC nearly my whole life, and I rarely see Latinos.

I see lots of Chinese and Indians (from India, not Natives), some Filipinos and a few Arabs and Blacks, but almost no Latinos.

I think the Census corroborates my observations.
