Are the Red Sox better off by not getting ARod?

I just read the front page of the NY Times Sports section which had an article on Cabrera's influence on the Red Sox. Basically, the article talked about how he's the complete opposite of Nomar personality-wise, and played a pivotal role in helping to bring the Red Sox together as a team. The Sox have gone 27-8 since they got Cabrera.

Hell, Texas is a better team w/o ARod apparently....
