Are the Oscars a push for scientology or gay agenda?

I gotta go to bed.

Maybe it's just too easy to see the agenda for some, maybe some just deny the push in the terms of political correctness.

I'm not going to watch the Oscars, but I'm curious... Is it even more political this year than the Grammys? If memory serves me right, they gave The Dixie Chicks a bunch of awards even though most Country stations won't even play their music anymore.

Country stations won't play their music because they don't support Bush, but the Grammy voters are making it political by voting for them?

No, it hasn't been political yet, really. DiCaprio did honor Al Gore for his efforts with global warming, but that's only political in that Al Gore used to be Vice President.

Care to help us see this agenda by telling is what it is exactly?

They want us to become gay? They want us to become scientologists?

Yeah, I don't know how people can't see that damn gay scientologist elephant for what it is.

I'm still wondering about this "agenda." "Gay agenda" seems to be a term that I only ever hear homophobes using.

I'm not watching the show, but I'm also wondering how they're slipping the scientology in there.

yup, gore came on and, big surprise, used the awards to promote his agenda.

What gay agenda? Are you talking about Ellen hosting the awards? How dare they! Next they'll have a black person on pushing the black agenda! (make everyone black)

I see what you mean about agendas. They just chose that woman for best supporting actress because she was a *woman*. If she had been a man or imtim83, she wouldn't have gotten that award.

It's so weird. Jennifer Hudson just won and now I'm feeling more black. It's working!

Maybe some of us don't see the harm in not dwelling on the fact that some people on this planet are gay.

BTW-I don't give a fvck about political correctness. I just happen to think that people should be judged on their merits and not on what color their skin is or which sex they like to fvck.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Ellen Dewhatsherface.

i think imtim83 changed names

You must be a pretty pathetic person if you're watching something just to get pissed off about it. Is you life that empty and meaningless?

Most of us normal people simple change the channel or turn off the tv if we see something that upsets us that badly. You might give it a shot.
