are the new ppcs much better than old ones?

I have an ipaq 3600, battery is worn out. Trying to decide if I should replace the battery for ~60-130 bux depending on battery type or just spring for a new one.

What do the new PPCs do that the old ones don't?

built in wireless.

and faster processors, code that is (better) optimized for the device, less issues with connecting wirelessly, better screens, and in some cases more up to date software (ie:wmp 9)

huh, that's kind of sucky how 3 years later, PPCs aren't really that much better than the original 3600 ipaq. This pda was pretty far ahead for it's time.

Wireless is kind of nice, but I don't really have a use for it. So is a nicer screen, but there are no more b&w to color or DSTN to TFT display technology jumps anymore.
