Are the $30.00 ebay replacement screens for iPhone decent?

I want to have a backup screen on hand in case I break my iphone 6 oem screen again. I don't like big cases and like the slim look.

My question is, has anyone tried the ebay iphone 6 screens that are going for around $30??? If not, what have you tried?

I sick of driving an hour away to the apple store and then waiting forver.

Don't do it. Replacing the screen means messing with the fingerprint reader and if that is done wrong you get the dreaded error code 53.

I replaced the screen on my 5 with one of those screens.

It works.

I did end up busting one so I had to order another, so it isn't really a money saver.

The screen itself has a yellowish tint. And one of the adhesives wasn't strong enough so it came loose, this being a new screen.

I probably wouldn't do it again.

Everytime I try to repair one of these cell phone devices it goes badly.

I wouldn't do it, I did it on an iphone 4 once and the glass started crumbling around the home button after a couple weeks of using it. The colors were also a bit off and the viewing angles were worse. It worked though.

Could of swore apple fixed that issue.

I have a 5s as a backup with one and I noticed immediately the outdoor visibility was WAY WAY worse. Screen colors seem fine, I notice no difference, but the glass is much more reflective in my case. My kids use it and its been dropped and it has no scratches or cracks yet! (In a case but nothing on the screen)
