Are Subarus really gay cars?

No joke. Serious question. I was talking to my father about the older Mercedes that I own. He then asked me what I was driving around. Before I knew it he said "as long as it's not a gay Subaru."

I drive an Impreza.

Am I gay?

If you have to ask...

subaru was one of the first companies to strongly market to GBLT (which is a fantastic sandwich)

Subaru are kind of jokingly referred to within the gay community as lesbian cars. I see lots of Subarus around here with equality/rainbow stickers. I also own a Subaru. 😛

That said, since I'm not 5 and don't give a shit what someone says about my car, I'd buy a Subaru.

Oh, this is simple. Tell him you drive a "straight Subaru". See, problem solved. :sneaky:

I always thought it was Saturns around here. It was pretty easy to tell because most people colored in the Saturn letters on the bumper with fantastic colors.

Maybe Subaru is gaining momentum now that Saturn is gone?

no, that's because saturns are for high school girls who have no idea how shitty that car really is.

Your dad is probably jealous that Subaru pwns. I know in SoCal, the Subaru WRX/STi is one of the most highly admired "frugal" sports cars.

And if it's cool in SoCal, it's cool everywhere else by default.
