Or Hallucinogens?

I think the sugar caffeine combo is by far the worst. Most powerful withdrawal.

nicotine is one of the most addictive substances known.

But as far as stimulants vs depressants, I suppose it can also depend on the individual. Are you prone to depression or hyperactivity? How does one use such substances to enhance such moods?

No such thing as getting addicted to hallucinogens.

The majority of people are addicted to uppers in some way(caffein, cocaine, energy drinks, etc.).

In terms of addictiveness, I'm going with downers. Alcoholism fucks over more people than any other drug. Your boss can be a coke fein, busting lines on his desk every other hour, and you would just assume he's high strung.

Herion is the epitome of downers. If you are trying heroin for the first time, there are two things that can happen. It either kills you outright or you are addicted for life. Just look at what that drug has done to Russia's people. It's nearly impossible to get off it too.

The illness of addiction is special to the person involved. or stated another way... Each person has a different potential for addiction. What works for you may not be be same as for me or for someone else. Addiction is as much environmental as it is elemental. More or less.

This is why the Pharma industry has been so successful with the recently developed SSRI's.
Meth and other stimulant abuse has created an abundant sorce of Serotonin Syndrome sufferererers.

Opiate and Psudeo-opiate abuse has made Dopamine Syndrome patients.
There's GOLD in them thar' PILLS!!

I've heard stimulants (Adderall, Meth, Cocaine, etc.) are very addictive. They cause neurotoxicity to the dopamine receptors, which literally kills off the dopamine axons/dendrites. This means, you keep taking Addys for your tests, the less natural dopamine your brain has to get you motivated to even get you out of bed in the mornings. Opiates, on the other hand, are addictive, yes, but not neurotoxic; they just cause dopamine/endorphin downregulation.

The fact that Adderall/stimulants are neurotoxic is why I've never tried them, or street Ecstasy, cause a lot of those pills have speed in them.

SUGAR on the other hand is in food that doesn't need any added.
Since it's in so much food, it has to be sugar, lb 4 lb.

I still miss the feeling of morphine flowing through my veins. Depressants due to opiates by far.

and how would you feel if there was no sugar in anything you ate ever again? no fruit, no cakes, no sugary drinks, no sodas, nothing... not even a sugar substitute, because sugar substitutes make your body crave and demand sugar even more because it's like a broken promise you made your body.

giving up opiates isn't quite like giving up apples, bananas, oreos, ice cream, birthday cake, soda, bread, etc...
