SO very true. What a controversial subject, full of big-money lobbiests, folk-beliefs, hooey, scientific announcements that get reversed by other studies later, and other turbulence. What to believe...hmmmm. Gotta take the best sources we are able to discern.

Lots of people chug soft drinks, and this behavior is passed down the generations as the 'normal' lifestyle. But it doesn't serve your healthfulness.

The reason most people consume alot of soda is because of high fructose corn syrup. Your body doesnt react to high fructose corn syrup. If they used real sugar in soda's, people wouldnt drink nearly as much because your body reacts to sucrose, and will tell you to stop, but will not do the same for fructose.
