are russians technically asian?

Well, they do live in Asia. If you are going to give them a geographical description then yes, they are indeed Asians.

moscow isn't in asia, though you can make a good argument that europe being a separate continent from asia is arbitrary

traditionally the Ural mountains are the divider between Asia and Europe... so if they're from the part of Russia west of the mountains, then no; if they're from the part east of the mountains, then yes.

if they live right on top of the mountains, then maybe they can decide for themselves.

In terms of geography, it's pretty much a mix. Much of the Russia population lives in the part that you could categorise Eastern Europe or Central Asia, so that part's a toss up. Siberia is a large part of the Russia, but I'm sure you know it's famous for it's sparse population due to it's climate and terrain. In terms of demographics, Russians are usually divided into the European caucasian type, and the more in-tune with traditional 'Asian' looking type, with Mongolian or Chinese in their heritage.

At least from what I know..

Of course.

Yes but are they uman?

When we put our indoor kitten inside the house a few times after she ran out of the door when we were going in and out setting the outdoor table, she looked a bit weird from afar. I took a closer look and saw that her ears were down, almost flat (and she has these big radar ears), and she had "puppy eyes." She looked so sad. OP of that thread fails.

Geographically, yes

Racially, no

There is no Asian race.

The Mongoloid race is generally associated with Asia, I'm sure you're aware of that though, so I'm not really sure what you're getting it.
