Are raptors worth the money?

Right now I have a dual 2.0ghz G5 with 2gb of ram and I get the feeling that the oem SATA drive is slowing the box down... would a WD Raptor make any noticeable difference?

And considering their opponents - Spurs, Cavs and a healthy Bucks team, it's not too much to worry about.

And back to the original question, sure, it you have the money to spend, you will improve your disk performance with a Raptor. I rather spend my money on a larger HD instead.
