Boneless pork loin trimmed of all fat is like 33 calories an ounce. Just about the same as boneless white meat chicken.
Pork has more cholesterol, iirc, but its still just about as lean a meat as you can get. Its like 99 percent lean.

Pork isn't healthy at all ... go for some turkey or chicken breast and lost of fish.

This might've been the case 15 years ago, but recent data is making it look as though lean pork is pretty much interchangeable nutrition-wise with skinless, boneless chicken breast.

You guys should watch the Good Eats episode about pork chops. Alton Brown basically outlines the differences between say a 16th century pig and a 21st century big. Very informative.

To make a long story short, modern pork is very lean and very healthy. Eat it like all other foods, in moderation. I really don't care much for chicken so I eat pork instead.

You mean a 1950's pig vs. a 21st century pig. I watched that ep.

But yes, today's pork is very lean and healthy, and moderation and exercise is the key to dieting.

$$$ and plus overfishering of the world's wateries is out of control. I won't eat fish until better stock management actually kicks in (I'm guessing at least a decade at the rate things are going)
