Are pics posted by people in myspace and facebook considered public domain?

That's the way it is. Read the TOS (especially of facebook) closely.

Buzzz, wrong answer 🙂 The original owner of the picture, the copyright holder maintains copyright of the actual picture, they just grant permission for the site (facebook or myspace) to display it and use it in various ways on their website and whatnot.

As a third party, you'd have to get permission from each copyright holder to use their image for your endeavor.
 
a long time ago when i was in college, i wrote a vb dating sim, plus 100+ pictures i pulled from hotornot.

long story short, i got an A. even without the cybersex add-on.

i wonder if i still have a copy somewhere....
