Are phones going to top off at 1080p or will they go even higher?

I saw Sharp IGZO 6 inch display at CES and i was really impress by it. I think it's 4k resolution.

I spend a good 5 minute trying to see the pixel, but I couldn't. It's like looking at a printed photo except it's a lcd.

If everything else I want was there, I wouldn't mind 720p/768p in the next Nexus, even though I was impressed with the DNA's screen. I hope Android doesn't go past 1080p too soon, SoC's are already struggling with sub 1080p resolutions.

BLACKBERRY 10 is 1440x720.

maybe because of future tablets more than the need for it on smartphones. But yes, I like what BB10 is bringing.
