Are people wearing socks with their sandals these days?

I remember people used to wear socks with them, but I'm not sure whether that's the thing these days. Anyone?

Wearing socks with sandals defeat its purpose. It's like wearing your shorts over a pair of sweats when it is 90 degrees outside.

Well, I'm heading to the beach in a bit. Needed something to walk around in besides chanclas. 😉 So I got some nice leather sandals. I didn't think people wore socks with them, but I wasn't sure.

No I think socks and sandals make sence, its warm, but not warm enough to go barefoot, socks and sandals provide the right about of comfort. (I sound like an infomercial) Anyways other people dont seem to appreciate my sock and sandal wearing habits.

 

Socks and sandals go with each other at certain times.
At night in summer, when its a little chilly, and you dont feel like getting dew on your toes.
Or say your feet are getting sore from the constant rubbing.
Socks relieve that.

My socks turn all brown when I wear em in my sandals, which would be why I dont wear socks with my sandals anymore. My feet sweat a lot hehe.

even in the winter.
so when i was in highskool i would wear my sandals with socks inside so i would be super comfortable and my feet would be warm.
but now i have to walk outside between classes so i cant do it anymore.

man, I wear sandals as often as I can. I hate wearing socks and shoes. I hate wearing socks. Hell I'd go barefoot as often as I can.

it has never been acceptable

socks with sandals denotes a Yankee, Michiganeer, Snowbird, Canuk, or other sun culture deprived person.

If it gets cold, one dons a long sleeve shirt first, then a sweater, next long pants, then regular shoes sans socks, lastly snakeskin cowboy boots &amp; socks.

One only wears socks &amp; sandals if in the Andes far away from all known culture &amp; civilized persons.
