I've been throwing spinach in my salads. Actually, I have always liked steamed spinach with butter on top, but don't much do that these days.

I'll check out the water melon. Thing is, it takes up a lot of room in the fridge, maybe one of those little ones.

I've been eating a lot of bananas for some time. I think that covers my potassium. My doctor congratulates me on my excellent health, he called me a "Kaiser commercial." :D

heh. I do look a banana every morning. Nice energy boost and helps keep you regular. Coffee is better for that, though.

Coffee is the first thing I do when I get up, maybe after taking a leak. Organic coffee, as well as my bananas, I've gone fairly organic last year or two. Friend of mine told me 20+ years ago that I should always get organic coffee because they use bad pesticides on ordinary coffee... smart guy. I could make it super strong with my machine but I like it not so strong so I get my requisite water. I get most of my water from my coffee. Used to drink it black but now I douse it with nonfat milk.

Yes, many people are too fragile today.

It still amazes me that many guys still hit on women at work and make crude jokes. All you need is to hit on one woman with a stick up her ass and you are done. All she has to do is file a complaint with human resources and you are probably going to be fired. I keep to myself and my work. I don't hit on anyone at work and I'm very careful about what I say. If I see a coworker dressed nicely, I will never compliment her on how she looks. Because, even a simple "I love your dress" can get you in a ton of trouble if it's directed at the wrong lady.

William Blake said "always be willing to speak your mind and a base man will avoid you." Unfortunately, as you observe, it can also get you fired. What has the world come to? :( Methinks it may be better to be without a job than to work where you can't speak your mind!

To your original question....

I don't think they are more fragile, or more stupid. They just have the ability to communicate more of their stream of consciousness, thanks to the internet.

Tens of thousand of posts from single individuals. The human race hasn't evolved beyond the nervous chatter of monkeys in the trees, waiting for the soothing response.

Yes. Particularly Bernie supporters. Just ask for source proof of a meme on facebook and the vitriol flows hard full of personal insults. Crazy.

The internet gave the world both the best and worst thing ever... A voice for everyone.

Screw that. If I think someone looks particularly good at work I'll tell them and I've not gotten into trouble in 20 years of doing it.

Then again I'm not trying to creep on them so I suppose there's that.

Well, it's Facebook, and who gives a shit about people's feelings, especially on Facebook? Get in there an insult and troll the idiot till they start literally crying.

Lol @ Facebook. I could care less about what some barely qualifies as acquaintance eats for lunch, cliched life statements and selfies in shot to death locations that has 42097849208402843 copies of it already on Flickr.
