I haven't had any problems with my Panasonic 5.8GHz phone.

Well aside from the batteries in two of them. Switched to longer lasting ones. I have the KGX-5110 system (x4 handsets). Love it.

what brand of batteries do you use to replace the crap battery from panasonic? thanks

yes, do tell. i'd like to know as well.

If you have Meijer in your area they sell generic brand (don't remember the name) for less then $10.00 I've had one in my phone for over a year now and still going strong. My 900MHz Panny phone is almost 5 years old and still chugging along.

Last week picked up a brand new Panny 2.4GHz phone/answer set for $20 at Staples clearance. I'll keep it boxed until current one dies.

we have a 2.4 ghz cordless one, with the breakaway one. The breakaway died on us about a month ago after about a year or so. Just wont get a signal or anything anymore.

So now I have a Vtech ;)
