I knew this physiologist whose research involved dogs running on a treadmill. He said that the only way they could get the dogs off the treadmill was by offering them oreo cookies. They preferred oreos.

Is it good for them?
You know that anything sweet is got to be bad for you.

well its not the chocolate, its more specifically the chemicals in cocoa. different chocolate products have varying amounts. and some dog breeds are more sensitive too.. so its tad fuzzy. and the chemicals last for 4 days since their livers can't handle em.

Ha, I was just about to mention that. My roommate is a Vet Student and she was telling me that Onions and Chocolate can be deadly to dogs.

You can't eat just one..once the dawg develops a taste for em he'll be sniffing for em all the time. His nose is 100x more sensitive then yours..he'll be always smelling Oreos.

I dread his morning walk tomorrow. Better take extra baggies... :Q

Or a wet-dry vac. *rimshot*

That would rock walking around with a wet-dry vac. Think of the looks you would recieve.

Especially while you're sucking up dog crap with it.

tonight's take: a stick of butter...

His digestive tract shrugged off the oreas and doritos. Not sure about this onslaught...

My neighbors have a pot bellied pig. well.... a few years ago, they went out to dinner, and came home a few hours later to find the fridge in their garage opened, and 6 empty beer bottles laying next to it, not but 3' away did they find the pig passed out.

yup, he opened up the fridge, and opened up 6 bottles and drank them.

they now have a lock on the door, not locked, but just there so he cant open it.

No action on the morning walk, so I guess my wife (who works at home) is going to have to deal with the butter... haha

My dog chewed up some razor blades a year or so ago. The kidn you put in box cutters, not the kind on razors. Got some XRays and saw them going through her system. Never found them come out the other end though.

One of my dogs has turned into a trash disposal as well. He will eat anything that falls on the floor, or that I'm messing with. Paper, plastic, food, etc. Both of my dogs have chewed on razor blades/safety pins before, but I caught them almost immediately. I keep a good eye on them, but they can be pretty sneaky.

I have a female friend who describes her husband as a "pot bellied pig". Amazingly, he drinks beer, too. She's also found him passed out in the garage more than once.
