I just looked up chocolate and he would have to eat about 75 oz to receive a toxic dose...

He does seem a bit mellow though.

Maybe it was all the doritos he ate earlier... (he has been a bad dog today!)

I never knew chocolate was bad for dogs. I had 2 when I was a kid but I never fed them chocolate.

Or a wet-dry vac. *rimshot*

That would rock walking around with a wet-dry vac. Think of the looks you would recieve.

Especially while you're sucking up dog crap with it.

Doesn't the size of the dog make a difference? I'm sure a 140 pound dog could survive a lot more chocolate than one of those little sh!t dogs.

My little chihuahua stole 2 big fat no-bake cookies off my computer desk one night. Apparently she enjoyed them so much, she slobbered and rolled around on them. My first reaction in the morning was that she took a dump in the floor, then wasn't shy about reveling in her creation. But then I noticed those damn cookies gone. With as little of a dog as she is, and as much chocolate she ate, she was fine.

some numbers for math and interesting note.

DARK CHOCOLATE IS MUCH MORE DEADLY THAN NORMAL CHOCALTE!
Dark chocolate is at least 10 times as lethal.

For normal chocolate, here's the covnersion from the link:
1.4 KG/25KG=5.6% of your dogs body weight in chocolate needs to be eaten.

For dark chocolate, that's about 0.5% of your dogs body weight.

AS for the Oreos, I wouldn't worry to much.

I had feared the morning walk was going to be a horror show, especially as that boy's stomach was growling something fierce all night. Luckily for me, all was perfectly normal...

I'd like to think his digestive issues will teach him to stay away from the Dorito/Oreo double header, but I think that is a bit of a stretch for his Rob Cur like intellect...

I had a 50-60lb dog growing up and never knew that chocolate was bad for her. She used to eat it without any noticeable problems. Wound up with throat cancer so I don't think it was a factor in her lifespan (13 years, Wiemaraner).

They actually have sanitation workers in France that ride motorcycles equipped with giant vacuum cleaners to suck up dog crap from the streets and sidewalks. I'm not sh!tting you. Must be hard to get a date with that job though. "What do you do for a living?" "Uh..."

My dog eats two fat-free oreos every night after his dinner. He's been eating them for like five years, if not longer. They've done him no harm.
