I am not overclocking, but I just wanted to know what temps I should be getting with this setup.

Athlon XP 2000+
Epox 8k3A
Thermalright AX-7 with 80mm Vantec Stealth fan
Antec SX 1030B with 4 80mm Vantec Stealth fans

Currently I am getting about 40C CPU temp idle. Haven't tested it under load. Thanks for any input.

Mightybao, under load my AX-7 runs around 64C, yes it's kinda high, but it's stable. Keep in mind that the Epox 8k3a reads from the internal diode, so the temps reported will be higher than a reading taken from the MB. I have the 8k3a+, so w/ such a low temp, I'd say you're fine :)

yup your temps are fine :)

i have a very similar setup... i have an 8k3a+ with an xp1500+ overclocked to a 170mhz fsb making it an xp2050+

i also use an ax7 and i get an idle temp of 37c and under full load i get to the mid 40's (the ambient room temp is also very cool which helps keep temps down)
