How can people not crack their fingers/back don't they get all stiff and "non-moveable" (heh) I DO!. Watchoo guys think?

Heh... I crack my knuckles, not as often as I used to, but yeah. I pop my back all the time. I know it's not a good thing, and I'm probably going to have back problems when I get older(Not because of the back popping, but it's a symptom of a larger problem in my case), but I can't help it. It feels good, lol.

As for your topic, I thought you were going to ask if you should stop smoking cigarettes, or stop eating junk food. Not cracking your knuckles. lol.... ;)

Yea,I have some very bad habits myself. Smoking is one bad one but its the habit that isn't even active that is definitely going to kill me. I now have hepatitis c as a result of past heroin use. Kind of makes me wish I used my head for something more than a drug recepticle in the past. Oh well, live life to the fullest and if any of you are using drugs just think of the consequenses beforehand, because there are probably more than you know.

<< what exactly are the effects of hepatitis c? >>

Usually within 10 or so years your liver fails and either you get a transplant or you die. In 10% of hep c patients there is a medication called interffuron that works in about 15% of the 10% who are eligable to take it. The medication makes you very ill even if it doesn't work. I don't expect pity or want any so don't anyone tell me how I did it to myself and deserve it because I obviously already know that so there is no need to be redundant. Just felt like sharing my personal experience and since I really don't get the chance to talk about this stuff in public this seems as good an oportunity as any.

You don't need to think like that, you know. By admitting defeat, you're sending a message to every cell in your body that it's okay to die. I kid you not.

There has to be some common sense things that you can do to support your liver. Try and stay away from toxic chemicals. Don't get things like gasoline and solvents on your skin. Don't drink alcohol. Don't take over the counter drugs that have to be processed by your liver, acetomenophin is the only one that comes to mind. I'm sure there are many, many other things you can do. Your liver is one of the only organs in your body that can actually repair itself when it is damaged.

If you want to learn about the power that we all have within us to support life, I suggest you go read a book called, "The Secret Life of Your Cells", by Robert S. Stone, based on research by Cleve Backster. It's really an eye opener. We all act like we're so helpless sometimes. ;)

yes, unfortunately you'll die, in fact we'll all die. Well, except for Dick Clark of course.

Cracking your knuckles and other joints realeases a gas between the joints, and that makes the pop, the reson u cant pop it usualy again and again is u have to wait for the gas to build up again. some say the gas effects the tissue around the joints, but there is no prooven bad effects of cracking joints.
