No you really can't, you have to watch it if you want to understand it. You're basically playing telephone and trying to make a rational decision. If you haven't watched the trailer your entire opinion on the subject is null and you really should exit before you make yourself look a bigger fool. I had assumed you watched it, I had assumed everyone making an opinion on the matter has watched it, guess I made an ass out of myself by giving you to much credit.

Like I said... I don't speak Arabic.. I cannot understand what they are saying....

Maybe you and the others can tell me what all the differences between the English version and the Arabic one is....

No, I don't.

This just shows how much you know. Nothing!

Actually it appears that you aren't familiar with it.

Muhammad had about a dozen wives. Aisha was his 3rd wife, and was 6 or 7 when married, and 9 or 10 when the marriage was consummated.

Yeah remember how my Egyptian buddy only talks about Religion? Yeah I've had to hear about all this shit.

What I don't get is that I thought Muhammad needed these wives for political reasons. The man had enemies. However Aisha was the daughter of one of his friends and I don't see how that would have given him any political leverage.

Oh and Muhammad was in his 50's when he married her. Today we call that pedophilia and thus the depictions of your prophet are sometimes unflattering.

I thought he was talking about verses from the Qur'an. And just to let you know, Aisha carried most of the Hadiths of the Prophet to us. Go figure.

Drop one on the Vatican too? How about dropping one of every city where there is a lot of violence, which would be Washington DC, Chicago, New York, etc etc?

Good thing we do you allow people like you to have any real power.

NO way man. God Almighty himself has proclaimed that right. God is likely Pretty Pissed of About abook compiled under the leader ship of Rome. For Hiding the full message of Christ and of Paul the deciever.

It was released in English though... You can simply watch that version, unless you think it was written in Arabic, which it wasn't, it was translated to Arabic. So if you want the "real deal" you have to watch it in English.

But people aren't getting upset over the "real deal", they're upset over the version they were shown.

If you're going to judge whether or not what they saw is offensive, you have to judge what they actually saw, not what they should have seen.

I'm sure it had, but I'm sure the arabic version was viewed orders of magnitude more times.

Are Christians sensitive about God?

Not A true Christian , A true Christian is suspose to live the life example which was the Christ . No other dogma is allowed but what Christ said and did as witnessed. No second hand BS. You convert others threw your own personal relationships with all peoples and beliefs.By who you are and how you carry yourself . You are allowe to speak out against all wrongs but take no action as is the example of the Christ.

If you found a huge nest of snakes under your house, from which some had been getting inside... and most of them or even half of them or even 40% of them were extremely venomous, deadly snakes, but the rest were harmless varieties with no venom and which never bite humans... would you get down in there and try to sift out all the harmless snakes, or like me would you just douse that fucking hole with lighter fluid and throw in a match?

That's a healthy attitude to have towards humans. Just light them all on fire; some of them are bound to deserve it.

7 billion man, 7 billion.

Need I say more?

In case I need say more, let me point out to you that these people have an absolutely irreconcilable world view and vision for the human race to what western civilization has.

They aren't interested in coexisting, they're interested in bringing down the decadent western Great Satan or whatever the fuck stupid shit they've pumped into their heads.

Sometimes there's a beautiful simplicity in just viewing things a little bit black and white... I've been all about nuance my whole life but now I've recently realized that sometimes a little bit of over-simplification and meeting barbaric violence on it's own terms needs to be a response you can have buried down inside which can be triggered in the right circumstances. When the threat to your way of life is too profound for your usual bag of tricks to address.

You're advocating the genocide of billions of people and they're the ones who aren't interested in co-existing? That's interesting.

Ya, some sort of social disorder.

There are 1.2 billion Muslims. So, if I was advocating wiping them all out, I'd be advocating the genocide of 1 billion people. But not really because Muslim is not a genetic group. It's a religious group which contains adherents of several racial and genetic groups.

But it gets better.

I'm not advocating wiping out all Muslims.

I'm advocating deporting those who have immigrated to western countries but show absolutely no desire to embrace a western lifestyle. I'm advocating swift and breathtaking retribution for those in their own origin countries who do things like attack our embassies. With a heavy tolerance for collateral damage.

I'm advocating military force including deadly force for those who will not go along with the deportations previously mentioned in a peaceful, cooperative fashion.

Muslims like we have here in the US in Dearborn, etc, BY AND LARGE from what I can tell are perfectly fine. They embrace US culture and are good people. Not a single problem in the world with them. If the Muslims in Europe were more like them, in quality and in quantity... you wouldn't be hearing this out of me.

I also know there are some fine Muslim people in the middle east, etc. My first gf was a Kuwaiti Muslim and she and her family were great, nice people who didn't take their religion all that seriously (as the average American doesn't take Christianity seriously) and were very westernized. Kuwait, Jordan, no problem with those countries.

I believe the action these people are taking could be considered blasphemous. The elevate Mohamed to some god-like status..they supposedly revere Moses as well, but ignore what he wrote what God said:

"Deuteronomy 32:35 :

To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste."

Translation...God can take care of his own retribution. So in my opinion if you are doing something that God doesn't like let God take care of it. It is not our place...So what they are doing in my opinion is a true act of evil.

Earl, yes I have read the wiki link. Where is the arabic version that was so greatly viewed? It isn't on Youtube, that version is in English. In fact it is quite illogical to assume the English one hasn't been viewed in that region seeing as there's plenty of English speakers there who have internet access. You really think all 4.5m views come from Western Countries? You refuse to even watch it, how many other people do you think feel the same? exactly. Waah I don't speak Arabic I can't understand why they'd be pissed, except the English version fully well shows why they'd be pissed and is just as equally offensive to anyone practicing Islam. Shows exactly how much you know or care about the religion to think language matters at all.

I watched it yesterday afternoon.
I guess you feel I had a duty to report that back to you.
Since Youtube removed the Arabic version that started this all in Cairo, we had/have no way of knowing if that version contained even more crap.
Most of the protesters had not even seen the movie
They were just following Cairo
Yes the English version is bad enough

Now is there any other problem you may have?

Nope, you have a place to stand now in this conversation. As you can see the English version would be equally offensive to a follower of Islam, you don't need the Arabic version to see that. I also have no idea what you're talking about with Youtube pulling down the video, they have denied any request to do so and have blocked it from viewing in certain nations. Where is this Arabic version that was on Youtube? There wasn't one. It had SUBTITLES.
