I remember half a year ago when a stick of 512 was as low as $50. I'm putting together a new computer now but the ram is so overpriced. I was plannin to buy a stick of 512 ddr 2100 but that sucker on pricewatch was 135 after shipping and it was crappy generic too.

I'm just still hoping because I have to pay about $120 for one stick of 256mb sdram :| damn stupid local resalers
 
It wasen't that long ago when it was a dollar a meg...the price has gone up and will continue to rise due to mfgrs.ramping up production.

hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should have bought a couple years back when 128 was running around $300.
