They aren't too ugly, just not as nicely styled as the coolermaster. If I had a choice, and money wasn't an issue, I would go for Coolermaster. However, the Coolermaster cases usually run about $100 more than an equivalent model for LianLi, that might be why so many people have the LianLi. ;)

No aluminum case will ever match my Lite-on FS020! Three 120mm fan mounts, and you won't find a case with more room to work in.:)

I don't think Lian Li cases are ugly.

You shouldn't compare the ATC-210 to the PC-60, rather, you should compare the PC-60 to the ATC-201.

the coolermaster link was to my favorite one

but the lian li is a link they give you when you click "our products -> aluminum" so you can see all the cases

the other coolermasters dont look that good IMO but the lian lian li's are all pretty much the same level of ugliness so i just linked to the "cases" page

Lian Li cases aren't ugly. They look nice compared to most cases, but the Coolermaster looks better and is contructed better, as it should comparing their costs. I don't think the 210 are their best looking series, the 201 is better looking IMO. The plastic cover on the 210 gives it an Imac look and covers the very nice aluminum finish of the case which is it what gives it its great looks. I looked around for the cheapest place to purchase a 201 and oddly enough it was Fry's of all places, at $200 even. This case is surprisingly roomie for a mid tower case. I had fewer problems and a much easier task of squeezing my system into this case than the full tower Antec 1240SX it replaced, and it weighs about half as much to boot.

I don't think Lian-li cases are ugly but I do think they don't look so impressive either. Lian-li cases looks mediocre. Their design isn't so sophisticated as Cooler Master ATC-210. Lian-li cases are little different from many other steel cases in terms of design. It's just the use of aluminium that makes it look different from average-looking steel cases. In contrast, ATC-210 does have an excellent design that distinguishes it apart from Lian-li's and makes it competitive with Mac cases in terms of appearances.

I feel ATC-210 isn't iMac-like in some sense. Just because plastic is used doesn't make a case iMac-like. iMacs look cheap because its case is made up of plastic only. On the other hand, with ATC-210, plastic is used as an accent to add a subtle nuance to the appearance of the case. The accent of translucent plastic added to a shiny aluminium body generates the sublte atmosphere that no other PC cases are able to achieve and brings ATC-210 into the league of Mac cases other than iMacs. Mainly because of this aspect, to me, ATC-210 is the best looking case among all Cooler Master cases.

I think the silvery aluminum look is great. Much better than plain beige or anything. Looks futuristic. The Coolermaster ATC-201 is constructed (and looks) better though. As for space, there's this great aluminum case available at Fry's (California chain) by a Japanese company called Freeway, it has 2x120mm fans and more room than most server cases.
