I wonder why he doesn't sell one of the many high end monitors he claims to have...

Anybody here play Battlefield1942 on their LCD? I bought a Samsung 171v last year and took it back to BestBuy after a week because I couldn't get the color lined out right(and it had 2 dead pixels out of the box). I tried every setting every different way and adjusted the color profile about 20 different ways. I don't know if it was my ineptitude or if it was something about the specs of the specific one I took home but everytime I went indoors everything was just dark grey except for the windows. Any people's uniforms inside were totally grey, no way to tell the difference between teams. After walking up to enemies about 6 times and having them look at me like "wtf is your problem, idiot?" and then shoot me in the face the lcd went back in the box.

it's not like that on my SyncMaster 151s....and it's old too

turn up the gamma, that might help

either that or set your colors higher
