Are Khypermedia CD-Rs any good?

i haven't used the dvd-r but i used to use the cd-r by that brand. after lots of use or a long time they silver label stuff starts to flake off. haven't bought them since i found that out.

I heard they once used Super AZO chemistry like Verbatim (the recording side would be dark blue). If that's the case, then they should make good disks for audio to be played on older consumer level players. But if the label side finish really flakes off as mentioned above, I wouldn't use them either.

I picked up a 25 pack of their DVD-Rs at Officemax last week for 7 dollars and some. I've recorded a couple of movies and they have worked flawlessly.

We had really poor results using them. They would complete the burn ok, but proved to be fussy when they were read.
