Are humans truly omnivores?

The more I read about how our bodies are more anatomically similar to herbivores makes me wonder if I should become a vegetarian.

Eggs and fish are just too tasty to give up though.

That's pretty dumb. To be healthy you pretty much need to eat meat, or go out of your way accomodate the lack of it in your diet. 10,000 years ago if everyone decided to not eat meat most people wouldn't be able to stay healthy.

Go ahead and switch to a vegetarian diet and stuff your face with supplements to compensate for the lack of nutrients.

If our bodies willingly accept a food group and benefit from it, why give it up?

Um, have you taken a critical look at your teeth yet? Ever wonder why they're not all molars?

Geez, what the fuck is wrong with people these days...?

My eyes are on the front of my head so I can hunt, not on the side of my head so I could avoid predators like a cow. Good luck eating moss and grass in your life. I'll keep enjoying my delicious steaks. MMMmm MMMM!!

We can process meat and vegetables just fine. Which means we are omnivores. 2+2=4? I think yes. Common sense people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! x10000 don't let them blind you to the facts.

The human body has a number of tendons and muscles found in 4 legged carnivores that are not found in primates. Clearly, we were Born To Run, by running our prey down until it was way too weak, just as the book suggests. Such a high caloric source of energy and protein allowed are brains to develop further and further.

The ones that immediately come to mind are Zync, Iron, and Omega3.

You can get iron if you eat plenty of leafy vegetables. Peanuts are a good source of Zinc.

You can live a healthy life without Omega3. But yeah no Omega3 if you are only eating veggies. I mean Omega3 is not essential if you have good diet and exercise.

I live a mostly vegetarian lifestyle, but I will eat a burger once in a while, and I don't think you should ever exclude fish, so I eat it a lot.

Oh and if offered bacon I will never turn it down.

There are arguments stating our bodies produce enough cholesterol that we don't need it from animal sources.

So? No one said anything about cholesterol. The only person who talked specifics said Zync, Iron, and Omega3. So saying that out of no where doesn't really mean anything.

err, whut? look to SE Asia and China.

PS I eat (supposed to be) vegetarian animals. Does that make me vegetarian?

You can be healthy on a vegatarian diet. I don't think anyone is arguing against that. It's the your body is anatomically designed to just eat vegatables that people have a problem with.

Our arms are kinda like branches, so me must be very similar to trees. I'm going to swtich to a photosynthetic diet.
