Southwestern Ontario isn't bad. Looking forward to owning one day, hopefully sooner rather than later. I want my kids to be able to play in a yard as they grow up.

I was looking to buy my first home....Bay Area, around the Penninsula. This past Sunday I couldn't believe how many 2 bedroom 1 baths were going for 600K+ and then 3 bedroom 2 bathrooms for 800K+. Maybe it's time for me to get out of the bay. Then you tack on 1.25% for CA Property tax, i don't know if i can afford this state.

Is your area any better?

Oh, and these are for actual homes, not condos/townhouses

....and they wonder why they keep loosing people out in California (not including Messicans though)

LoL...that's funny because my boss just told me today that he's waiting for his options to go up a little so he can move to Portland and buy a forest field or something like that......he's wierd.....(because of the whole forest thing)....

My wife got a new listing last week in North Co San Diego. It's a 4 bd 2.5 bth 1800sq ft home, she listed it at $435,000 and put it on the MLS on Wednesday, got an offer on Thursday and it was accepted last night-it's in escrow at full asking price. Amazing.
