Are game ports still in use?

Are the old game ports that use to be on graphics cards still in use are is this considered and obsolete interface? The reason I ask is because I was thinking of using a joystick to control a servo motor using Labview.

Yes. There are Gameport to USB adapters, but these don't work properly either. To use old Game Input devices properly you need to use Win98/ME.
