Are free GC's after signing up for CC worth it.

I always wonder about this stuff.
Like I opened up hotmail and this pooped up and was wondering if i could do this and put in my wrong info for a CC.

Put in a fake address and see what it asks you to do. You have to sign up for a credit card or some other crap.

i know that but can you sign up for a CC with fake info and address then just use the card when sent?

i guess. I mean ill give them my address of my old mailbox i havea key to and just use a bogus name
