thinkin of four vantec 92mm dba 20 cfm 28 each in antec case or two papst 120mm 26 dba 54 cfm in a compucase I know the compucase case is 1.0mm thick not sure un antecdo blow holes add much sound?

It's a bit too close to call. Either one would be very quiet, personally I would go with the Antec.
I can't remember how to add decibels off hand, buy I think fourX20DBa is still quieter than twoX26DBa

Four of those 20dbA 92mm fans will be 26dbA, whereas two of the 120mm fans will be 29dbA. So, there's a 3dbA difference which technically means that the 120mm fans will produce twice the amount of noise as the 92mm fans. But the human ear doesn't hear linearly, so although you'll almost certainly be able to hear the difference it'll be a small difference.

nice link cubicZ.

120's usually have a "calmer/less irritating" sound(lower rpms+size). but both setups sound nice and quiet.🙂 also if the fans have to pull air through small openings in the front it tends to create some noise also but that applies more to high cfm. personally if I had to choose between those two setups I would let the case decide, its much easier/cheaper to get a different fan(or 7v/rheo a fan) than to change a case. get the case you'll be happiest looking at and working on(in).
