I saw this on G4 Screensavers.

Currently over $5000 and 130 bids!

Are people just begging for punishment?

My God!

There are many absurd advertisements on ebay.
But I think people are bumping up the price so that the seller has to suffer later.

I mean. Ebay takes 5.25% of the final value fee.
Assuming he encounters a non paying bidder (In this case, highly likely since who wants to pay 5K for a mystery envelope).
Then the seller has much trouble but to claim final value fee charges.
wait for his money to be refunded and yet still get charged for listing the item anyway.

A waste of time for the seller for sure.

Hahahahaha 😀

So as an example if the high winning bid is $500.00 the high winning bidder will pay $500.00 and $5.00 postal insurance for a total of $505.00 US or if it is something like $4,663.00 it will be rounded down to the nearest hundred and the winning bidder will pay $46.00 US for postal insurance.

😕

If he rounded it up it would be $47. What a n00b.

I hear about so many people selling stupid stuff like mystery boxes and them going for big $$$, but I never considered that the buyers probably aren't paying, and then you're getting screwed with fees.

So really, you're taking a big risk by posting something like this?

What does eBay do if the buyer doesn't pay?
