are dark spots on your arm something to worry about?

I mean darker than a normal mole. I just noticed one on a spot that got really sunburned a couple weeks ago. Anything to worry about?

That looks more like a spider bite to me. Melanomas are usually characterized by Asymetry, irregular Borders, multiple/change in Color, and Depth. If its suddenly growing in size or changing color I'd have it looked at but from that pic it looks more like a reaction to a bug bite.

Get it looked at, though it doesn't look THAT bad from your pic. And while you're at it, get yourself checked out for Hepatitis C.

Doesn't look like anything to me. I've had a couple of spots like that on my arms for as long as I can remember. However, if you're worried about it, you know who can tell you what it is for sure.

Scroll to the right. It's too blurry to make any kind of assumption, but *that* one is not a spider bite.
