Are certain pc parts considered "collectable"?

I would argue there is a base value in voodoo cards as they are kinda perfect for quake 1 and other clasic glide games.

I'd say e-bay for value check. OR some of the computer museums.

I would guess eventually certain computers, and maybe computer parts and even complete programs or games will be collectible. If I was so inclined (and I'm not) I'd stockpile early Apples, PC Jrs, the first run of IBM PCs, Lotus 1-2-3, early Ultima games with all documentation and maps, etc. for twenty years or so.

If you are asking will such a "collectible" be worth substantially more in one year or three years, then I doubt it. I think you will need both rarity and nostalgia to kick in first. But these are just my guesses.

Ok thanks,I was just wondering because I came across a sound card made by ATI in an old 386 I took apart.
Edit-Went to ATI found a driver, wonder if it would in Win98?Cool.
