Are casio digital cams any good? They are tiny! Still recommend canon?

I like the casio exilir(?) digital cams a lot mainly because of size, but also like the fact that they use secure digital memory which i have for my new ipaq and mp3 player, instead of compact flash. Anyone had any experience with them? I was probably still looking at one of the smaller canon models, the a60 or somethign similar. Any advice?

Cameras are different than other hardware.
Especially since the quality of the lens is not something you can measure in pixels or other specs.

I'd probably only buy Nikon/Canon/Fuji/Minolta etc'.

I'll agree with that, Casio is on my long list of lower quality products. I would recomend Canon with no problems.

I recommended the Pentax Optio S to a friend and he is happy with it. It is even smaller then the Casio so small that it can fit inside an Altoids tin. Its a 3MP 3X optical zoom camera. Here is a review from
Steve's Digicams.
