im trying to find a good mb for a friend of mine, he has a mini tower but he said its a at case, but im not sure what mb would be good considering i dont know if babyat, or at are the same or not, any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

AT is to Baby AT as ATX is to microATX.

There are AT boards as big as ATX boards, but they are very rare.

Baby AT boards are quite rare themself, and AT are even harder to find.

But no AT and bAT are not exactly the same, if he has an AT miniTower chances are you need babyAT to fit it.

there are a very few baby AT mobos still going on socket 7 platform. perhaps one or two still for socket 370, none otherwise.
AT is an old format for big squarish mobos. baby AT is smaller naturally. baby at will fit in AT case.
your options are so limited you might find it best to ditch or sell that case etc
