Large sections of South Koreans are evangelical christians heck even the current President of South Korea who is also the CEO of Hyundai is a christian evangelical.
 
Technically most Asians I know should be libertarian. Uber fiscally conservative but fairly moderate on social issues.

All the Asians I know are fiscally conservative and socially SUPER conservative, yet they vote Democrat. It's quite a paradox. Kind of like Jews voting overwhelmingly Democrat simply because of FDR.

I would say this is true for the Asian people who grew up in Asia. For example, the wife is expected to be totally obedient to the husband.

You must not know many Jews, as most would be insulted by that statement. Jews vote democrat because they are more ideologically and culturally aligned with democrats - they're not a herd of sheep that vote for a party because of a president 70 years ago.
 
Asian here. Most of my family is a bit mixed politically. Older generation (grandparents) vote republican. Father, and pretty much all of my cousins, democrats. Pretty moderate overall, though my father is strongly a democrat give or take by his own admission. Mother doesn't know jack about politics.

I'm the radical libertarian. It's kinda odd. Oh well.

How is that paradoxical? Let's compare number of racist Republicans compared to Democrats. Or do you expect Jews to vote for Hitler?

I thought this thread was about asians being just as cheap and in many cases they (we) are... surprised it isn't a common generalization just the same.

I find it ideal to be exposed to both asian & american cultures... strong sense of family / responsibility but also be able to tell what in the asian culture is fuct up in comparison. Not saying I'm a good example, just that I can see both sides and decide for myself.

George Bush ran against Al Gore and John Kerry. So far as I can tell he has never run against Barak Obama so exactly how does that silly statement I quoted from you above prove that Republicans are racist? Wishing it were so and saying it will not make it so no matter how many times you repeat it. I'm actually surprised you didn't respond with the standard "everyone knows this is true" crap.

I would have pointed out Rush Limbaugh but I can't think of his Democratic counterpart. Google George Bush and Racism and you can find examples.

I am not asking for silly crap like Kanye West's "George Bush hates black people", I want you to show me one documented case of George Bush's racism. You made the assertion, not I so it is up to you to provide the actual proof otherwise I will just assume it is more parroting of DNC talking points. I can give you concrete real world examples of Democratic racism, from Woodrow Wilson forward to the current Democratic Senator that was once a leader in his local KKK so I am just asking for similar real examples since you guys love to toss this around so cavalierly. The reality is you toss around the term racism to deflect and distract and have pretty much stripped the word of any actual meaning.
