I've probably spent $60-70 on android apps in the past year. I usually buy utility type stuff like Beautiful Widgets, Tasker, etc. And licenses to unlock the full versions of other stuff (launcher pro, ADW EX, Root Explorer, Beyond Pod, etc).

So it just depends. Personally, I wouldn't really have an interest in your app. I also get the impression that there are a lot more impulse buyers that own apple devices.

that's the thing, an app shouldn't be in the market unless it works with most android phones out of the box. i can understand keyboard/touch input differences or the requirement for a recent CPU or version of android but it shouldn't require you to root your phone to work

the cr48 is crap and a paperweight without an internet connection

Do you see the problem you're having here? You're complaining about things that are already told to you by the product description.

App says root required. You don't have root access yet you still try the app then complain it doesn't work.

You knew your cr48 would be using chromeos.. yet you complain that it's a paperweight if it has no internet connection.
