Are all socket 370 heatsinks interchangable with socket A??

Have you ever seen a heatsink that was not comparable or vice versa??

I think I remember reading once that socket 370 cpus have a slightly lower profile than socket A cpus, so if you tried to use a socket 370 heatsink with a socket A cpu you run the risk of the heatsink no applying enough pressure on the cpu or not touching it at all.

thats why i was asking what the heatsink in question was
i know my swiftech mc370-oa will work on both socket 370 and socket a (socket 462)

we need some more info

No. Hell, no. ABSOLUTLEY NO! Never use the intel retail fans from the FCPGA to run a Socket-A processor unless you want to quickly fry it. The pressure of the spring is offset differently from the AMD specs to the Intel retail heatsink specs. Like Shooters said, the heatsink will be crooked.
