Are 2 medium onions equal to 1 large onion?

I usually go by that a medium onion is the size of a tennis ball and a large onion is the size of a softball or bigger.

I find frozen onions have an odd texture. Fresh is always better.

It seriously takes less than 10 seconds.
And as a proof of that you attached a video in which it took Gordon Ramsey to dice half of an onion in ~30s...
And no, I'm not counting the pauses and when he's just talking.
I don't see a common person speeding that up by a factor of 6.

And that's without peeling.
I don't use pre-cut onions, but peeling and dicing a large onion is always a couple minutes effort for me...

If you pick it from a garden, yes. But I've seen a number of places saying frozen is better than something that spent a week in transport and in the store, as they freeze it shortly after picking.

onions should be dried properly for best storage. I just don't like the frozen ones.

probably the same reason why I don't like bottled garlic.

Onions??? You can't be serious. You can easily store onions for weeks in a cool, dark place. And I seriously doubt that anyone has onion freezing factories near the fields. They, too, are transported.

The best sweet onions we get here in Colorado over the winter come from Peru. We have the choice of sweet onions either from Colorado ("locally grown, blah blah blah") or those from Peru, which are much like Vidalias and Walla Wallas. The ones from Colorado are nothing but overpriced yellow onions and are downright nasty.

If he had said "fresh is better" I would've thought onions only, but "fresh is *always* better" sounded like a generalization. Maybe I misunderstood...

My parents grow their own onions and they store them for months, if not the whole year until next harvest - so yes, I know onions don't perish easily (when dry).
And I've never actually seen frozen onions in a supermarket, I've seen lots of other veggies, but not onions.

Usually more than equal, unless the large onion gets in a quick KO punch on one of the medium onions at the start of the fight. Then the large should be able to grapple with the remaining medium without fear of getting jumped.

Dude dicing a whole onion in ten seconds is ridiculous. Do I think that it doesn't take long enough to not do it and buy pre-chopped? No. It might take you a minute and a half. As not a fast pro chef. You gotta peel it an then dice two halves. I've seen some pro chefs on tv go ridiculously fast. But it sure ain't ten seconds.

I can see wealthy people calculate how long the couple minutes take of their lives vs what it costs to buy pre-chopped and go with the pre-chopped. But for everyone else, just dice the damn thing yourselves.

People who can do it in seconds, plz post a video. It also does not count if there's bits of onion flying everywhere it has to all stay on the chopping board. Bonus points if there is blood involved.
