Well, considering all the 23 y/o guys are chasing after the 18 y/o's, I'd say yes. :p

Go find some women your own age. It's slim enough pickings for us 18 year olds.

I would find it hard to strike a true relationship. It's not the age difference so much as it is the point of life difference.

At 23, a lot of people are out of school, or rapidly approaching that point, and are entering into the real world of mortgage payments, full time jobs, and actually having to manage their money. At 18 and just entering college, the biggest decision they have to make is who's party they are going to this weekend and how many of the football players they'll end up blowing after they injest 12 shots of apple pucker.

rule of thumb is:
1/2 your age + 7 years = minimum dating age
and always round up
so if youre 23 then 19 is the lowest

so this means a 29 year old can date a 21 year old? :)

. But hey go ahead and get yourself a young chick OuterSquare, she'll quickly drive you crazy with her care-free highschool attitude and you'll wish you had never met her.

lol

The vast majority of freshmen girls I've met at school do have that attitude.. very carefree, they just want to party, etc. If you were looking for a serious relationship, you're probably not going to find one.

It depends on what both people want from the relationship. If it's pretty shallow, there's no problem, but if either side is expecting a deep, meaningful relationship with a long future, it's not likely. So while there's nothing inherently wrong with it, it can be iffy in practice. I would not want to date an 18 year old woman (I'm 33) because in my experience they lack anything even remotely resembling emotional maturity.

I hooked up with an 18-year-old back in April (I was 21 at the time) and didn't see anything wrong with that. Sometimes it's fun to teach.

Peace,
Dezign

Hell yes! They are adults and there is nothing at all wrong with it. Women that age tend to be attracted to guys who are a bit older. Chances are when you were 18 the girls your age were into the older guys, and didn't really appreciate someone your age. Now turnabout is fair play, and its your turn to be the stud. Go for it!

LOL not only did you butcher that line but you also obviously did not read my first reply to this topic. BTW, I don't necessarily agree with the saying but I think it definitely fits for this thread.

"Grass" can emerge before a girl is 10, so that is a really, really, really bad heuristic :Q
