I've just set up my CPU & Heat Sink using Artic Silver 5.

Do you have to wait for the Arctic Silver to dry for 24 hrs?

Can I just start my PC up?

Fire that baby up!

It needs a couple heat and cool cycles for it to set.

Takes about +-100 hours before it is full caked on. Running full load then idle then repeat is a good idea.

Incorrect, it definitely firms up. Why did you think it becomes harder to remove the heatsink, after you've had it attached for more than a few days, than it is to remove it immediately after installing it?
